Do good, look good, smell good – my morning mirror mantra, sans vanity. Do good in the community through storytelling with an emphasis on underrepresented voices. Look good for those my words represent, educated and intentional in every step. Smell good to ease nerves and convey comfort to everyone I engage with. Knowing there is no true gatekeeper of information, I pursue journalism to learn and teach about the world. I start my day with these reminders of what it’s all for and what I’m all about: doing good and doing it well.
Hatched on JeJu Island in South Korea and raised in the Central Texas Hill Country, I've spent my life of cultivating a passion for beauty in the mundane.
