Ivy S. Fowler
multimedia journalist based in Austin, TX. Excited to relocate!
Hatched on JeJu Island in South Korea and raised in the Central Texas Hill Country, I developed a passion for beauty in the mundane at the ripe age of 8. Since, I've raised a love of storytelling through multimedia elements and have spent my academic career strengthening my craft. I graduated with a B.S. in Journalism from the University of Texas at Austin and am always seeking out exciting opportunities to push my reporting to the next level. Though I have an affinity for multimedia reporting and production, all aspects of the journalistic process compel me.
During my time at UT I reported for the campus newspaper The Daily Texan, was a photographer for a student led music magazine Afterglow, interned at Austin's leading broadcast news station KXAN in their newsroom and interned for Austin's NPR station on their multimedia team.
